The Burberry Beauty Box Launch in Asia

The latest fashion event to catch our eye is the launch of the Burberry Beauty Box in Asia. At the mere sound of the name we were eager to find out more about the glamorous experience that the British designer brand has designed to form an exciting leap into the Asian beauty world. With Suki Waterhouse hosting the event we are sure that the evening will be a stylised, glamorous affair. Let’s find out more about the launch of their genius beauty box………..

Who attended? Of course, Suki Waterhouse stole the show being the ambassador and all. South Korean singer, Kim Jae Kyung attended the event wearing a gorgeous lilac Burberry dress with a ruffle effect skirt and belted black jacket to finish the look. Suki and Kim were seen conversing with international make-up artist Wendy Rowe and Kwon Yuri wore a Burberry camel-coloured trench coat with a striking yellow belt and strappy silver heeled shoes. Fellow supermodel, Kim Sung Hee and actress, Kim Min Hee also attended the glamorous event in support of the Burberry concept – to mention just a few of the 100 exclusive guests.

What did Suki wear? Suki wore an amazing green Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 collection dress with an exquisite ruffle layered skirt and a vest shaped top with an organza T-shirt over the top. The dress was belted in satin at the waist, which complimented her model figure. Her hair was pinned into a messy up do which complimented her powder pink lips and a cat eye flick on her lids – of course – using one of the fashion house’s new eyeliners. Suki looked understatedly beautiful when representing in the iconic Brit brand.

Where was the spectacular event held? The launch party was hosted in the South Korean capital, Seoul held at the new concept store in the COEX Mall. The intimate cocktail event aimed to mix fashion and beauty. The location follows the success of the Covent Garden, London store and has branched out to a new market in Asia. This marks the first beauty store on the continent for Burberry, which will draw influence from the English capital’s store design – a Christopher Bailey masterpiece.

Why Asia? The British brand plans to find exposure from this carefully planned move. Their connection will be taken seriously forming a long-term commitment. It also cements Burberry’s global beauty mission that allows international customers to enter the brand’s vision within their own reach. Forming strong links will allow for Asian followers to grasp hold of Burberry products and become new followers for the fashion house – a taste of Britain in Asia.

What is the Burberry Beauty Box exactly? The Burberry Beauty Box encourages customers to interact with the make-up collection, fragrance range and accessory line through both digital and physical experiences. At the store those who enter will be faced with beauty styling, make-up master classes and fragrance discovery. Their bespoke service will allow for customers to purchase perfumes with their initials on. The interactive concept is unique and original for all involved!!
