Casting directories are websites, similar to that of job recruitment sites, that advertise hundreds and thousands of work opportunities for models. Individuals or companies needing models will create a casting on the site outlining exactly what they are looking for, the type of model, the nature of the shoot, the location and the amount that they are paying for the job that a model can then apply to directly.

UK and International Casting Directories

Starnow.com – Biggest UK casting directory with a 1000 plus jobs online for only maximum of £6.99-£9.99 a month (depending on offers).

3lancecasting.co.uk – £40 a year, a brilliant casting directory to combine your eBook and apply to castings directly.

Allsorts – https://www.allsortsagency.com/ – Over 20 years in matching models and actors with photographic, commercials, pop videos, TV & Film work. They are an agency but allow everyone on their books – £40 for lifetime membership

Castingnow.co.uk – Modeling, Extras and Acting £3.99 a month.

Openauditions.uk – No subscription, free to apply castings.

Castweb.co.uk – are responsible for supplying over 2000 of The UK’s leading agencies castings and work with big brands. £5 a month.

Fusionmng.com – Fusion Management is one of the UK’s leading talent and casting agencies representing Actors, Models, Dancers and more in Film, TV, Theatre, Commercial and Fashion Work.

Mandy.com – UK hosting and jobs online £80+vat for a year’s membership.

Extremetalent.co.uk – Companies posts out adults and children’s casting calls for modelling, music, feature films, movies and TV shows each week – £119 for the year

Purpleport.com – Free portfolio hosting site to network with photographers and other models. Please read through staying safe guide on your guide before using this site.

Models.com – International Networking – Mainly catwalk or high end but great for networking and keeping up with fashion trends.
